July in the Blink of an Eye!

July came with a fury of fun, laughter, vacation, 10 year high school reunion, birthday celebrations, concerts and visitors!  Here is what we have been up to...

July 4th was spent celebrating our Independence of course, however Josh and I also celebrated being homeowners for 2 years now.  We love our little home and couldn't be happier to this day.  We may curse while we are doing yard work, but we are so thankful for the wonderful community we live in!

LOVE where you LIVE and LIVE where you LOVE

Salt Lake Beauty
Our very good friends and neighbors, Robyn and Andy tied the knot on July 9th!!  Robyn asked me to be one of her bridesmaids, so we were lucky enough to share in all the festivities leading up to the wedding too. Rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, one last girls night at the hotel, pictures, pictures and more pictures, the ceremony (which was AMAZING) and finally the dance party!!!!  They went to Belize for their honeymoon and are back living the dream! They added a third puppy to their family named June!

Here are photos from the celebration....

Michael Franti and Spearhead Concert was next up on our agenda!  He put on a REALLY fun show that was made even better by enjoying it with wonderful people. The concert venue, Red Butte Gardens, is a beautiful outdoor amphitheater that allows you to bring in your own picnic and wine = )

Moab or BUST!! My Dad came into town for 10 days to share his ever special 60th birthday with Josh and me.  We decided to take him camping, Utah style! My Dad is a National Park lover, so we treated him to Arches and Canyonlands National Park as well as Dead Horse Point State Park. We hiked, slept under the stars and celebrated his birth! My Dad and I had a father/daughter golf day. The following weekend we took him up to "the cabin" which belongs to my in-laws for some much cooler Alpine temperatures and relaxation. It was such a wonderful gift to be able to share his birthday with him. My dad holds a special place in my heart! LOVE YOU DAD!!!

It's been 10 Years ALREADY!?!?! Where does the time go??  We packed up for another road trip to Reno for my 10 year high school reunion. It was such a BLAST!!! I got to see so many wonderful people who I have missed being in touch with for the last 10 years. Everyone is healthy, happy, having babies, and doing wonderful! I'm so glad we went.  The best part was being able to re-uinte with my 2 besties, Mal and Kelly!  We were attached at the hip in high school and to this day still stay in touch despite our distance and many life changing events. It was so much fun to be together again and just enjoy/laugh about "the good old days"!  The festivities included a park/family get together where people could bring their kids. We had beer, burgers and lots of catching up to do.  The evening included dinner with the gals and their significant others then off to a bar named Se7en, which is owned by one of my classmates and was kindly DJ'd by one of our other classmates.  Here are some photos....
